TypeDrill

Private typing trainer — forward-timed, re-runnable exercises, per-key diagnosis, and drills built from your own weak spots.

A private, offline typing trainer that scores you the way an employment assessment does — then tells you which keys cost you the score and builds an exercise out of them. Runs are forward-timed: the clock counts up and your completion time on a fixed, stored passage is the score, so this week's 41.2s against last week's 47.9s is a real measurement, not a rate against an arbitrary countdown.

Every exercise is stored and re-runnable, with records kept per mode (passage, word bag, countdown) and per-key diagnosis feeding drills built from your own weak spots. Native Rust/egui desktop app, bootstrapped from rust-skeleton — nothing leaves the machine.
