Cabinet

cabinet
Offline player and capture rig for the Zero-Shot Games collection — mirrors the library, plays every title full-screen, and shoots the screenshots the site runs on.

Native Rust desktop app — the front door and the camera for Zero-Shot Games, a collection of browser games each built solo by AI from a single prompt. cabinet sync idempotently mirrors the games library to a local folder; cabinet play runs any title full-screen in a tao + wry WebView2 window — offline, nothing to install per game.

Its real trick is capture. A WebGL game cannot be screenshotted from inside the page (canvas.toDataURL reads back black), so Cabinet plays each game full-screen and grabs the composited desktop — the real GPU frame, correct for Canvas 2D and WebGL alike. One command then ingests those stills into each game's gallery on zero-shot-games.com; the collection shoots its own promo. Gameplay-video capture is next. Read how we built it →
